Project dropped into my lap today after the fact:  New install of WiFi-only integrated building controls (lighting mainly) need to talk to their hardwired-only controller which in turn interfaces with web portal for monitoring and adjustment.  Controls installer and bldg manager set the units on the Guest SSID, but of course, there's no wired interface to make that direct connection.

Does a conversion of the IAP cluster to a controller provide that capability through a wired port, or....?

Conversion of the infrastructure not necessary. Move the devices to a PSK or other network that bridges the connection directly to a VLAN.
