    Hello ,

    we have a customer who is using proxmox as virtual environment , can clearpass (virtual) support Proxmox ?

    Also the same customer will start using Samba4 as Active directory . So is Samba4 supported ? if yes , with EAL-TLS also or PEAP ?

    ClearPass is supported on VMware, HyperV and KVM.

    however since Proxmox uses KVM, it could work but it won't be supported.

    Hello @ariyap Thanks for your response .

    I dont see in installation guide that proxmox is not supported .can you please highlight it ?

    What exactly does it mean that it is not supported ?

    Also about SAMBA , do you have references whether SAMBA is supported ?

    the installation guide mentions only what is supported. 

    Supported means that our Technical assistance centre will help  resolve the issue when they arise.

    I'm not aware of Samba being supported. Also here: Active Directory is supported. Samba tries to emulate AD as much as possible, but is not AD; which means that there is a chance that it works, but if it doesn't it can be that TAC cannot help you beyond a certain pont as you run with unsupported integrations.
