  • 1.  CPPM TACACS Dictionary Request

    We have Aruba Clearpass running 6.9. We have added Extreme Networks Switches Successfully.

    We need CPPM TACACS Dictionary to auth  Extreme Networks XMC  (Extreme Management Center) 8.4 version.

    XMC Uses CHAP or PAP for TACACS Authentication. 

    Anyone has already done pls share your inputs.

    Hi,

    You can export one of the existing TACACS+ dictionaries for reference and create a new one and import, as suggested by @alagoutte.

    Note: Uses PAP for TACACS authentication. You may not get the CHAP working between XMC and ClearPass.
