    Hi Folks,

                   does anyone what SFP+ DAC cable that you need to connect a Procurve E5406 and a FF 5700-32XGT-8XG, will J9283B work.

    Hello,

    Below are the only supported cables listed in each switch quick spec guide. Although using any of the below dac cable might work it is recommended to use listed cables & note unsupported cables are not listed.  :)

    (J9283B) 5400 series > HPE X242 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 3m Direct Attach Copper Cable 
    (JD097C) 5700 series > HPE X240 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 3m Direct Attach Copper Cable
