The capacity planning report sounds like a good start. There are also reports that give the most busiest, and least busiest APs. But in the end, having a look on the floorplan/heatmap, and see where clients are located versus where your APs are, combined with some common-sense, will give you probably a good indication.
Please note that you should not mix different AP generation in the same area, so replace all APs in a floor/building/site at the same time.
If you have the floorplans in Airwave, you can also use that to create a predictive AP planning, but finding the best locations for APs based on coverage, capacity and performance requirements is typically done by a WiFi consultant who has specialized software and measurement equipment to create/validate such a design.

Subject: determining where to place 655s (best Airwave report to run)
Replacing 30 out of 100 old (225) APs with 655s.
Trying to look at historical data to best determine where to place the 655s and their potential for handling higher capacity locations.
Looking at the standard report definitions, I see "Daily Capacity Planning Report"... running that gets me "No data to report!"
I cloned in and had it look at the last 3 months. Still "No data to report!"
I changed the threshold from 80% to 40%... still "No data to report!"
Does "no data" mean that my wireless usage is extremely low?
Is there maybe a better report to run, to determine where to best place these models?
