Hi,
Have you tried to give static address to device, connect it to 1920 port 1 and ping device connected to 5406 port 1 (or ping 5406 ip interface hosting dhcp server)
If ping does not work I would check uplink configuration between switches.

Subject: DHCP not leasing IP
Hi,
I have a 5406 switch that has DHCP server configuration on VLAN 8.
Port 1 is untagged to vlan 8, devices connected to port1 can get lease of IP addresses from the DHCP server configured.
Issue:
5406 switch port24 tagged to vlans including vlan8
connected to a 1930 instantON switch port24 (also confugured tagged vlans including vlan8)
1930 port1 configured to untagged vlan8, device connected to port1 of 1930 switch cannot get IP address.
What could be missing in the configurations?
Thank you.
