Hello,
I have a strange problem that I have not been able to figure out. I hope someone here can solve it for me or direct me in the right direction.
The Environment:Cluster of 27 IAP 103s (Soon to become 515s)
Virtual Controller version: 6.5.4.21
Current Configuration uploaded as a text document.
Juniper EX3400's Switches
The Problem:I have three SSIDs that us WPA-PERSONAL AES. When you look at the attached configuration file, the two I'm having problems with are my
SFTemp and
SFSD-M SSIDs. The
display-network SSID is not having the problem I'm about to explain.
The problem is the two SSIDs mentioned above will just stop handing out IP addresses to clients. Sometimes switching to the Guest network than back to the secure ones fixes this problem and other times it clears up in a minute or two. The problem also effects anyone at random and it can be any type of device, iPads, Chromebooks, windows devices.
Checking the switches and the DHCP server shows there is more than enough IP addresses for either of these networks. The switches don't report any problems either. Ran a Tech Support dump on the cluster and I personally don't see anything that looks like an obvious problem.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken So Far:Updated the APs
Updated the end points drivers. This was done when the problem first showed up. I thought it was a problem with the computer not the network.
Restarted the cluster
Upgraded AP to IAP 515's
I pulled an AP from a location reporting the problem yesterday and I am currently working on replicating the problem, but since it's not consistent, it's been a pain to narrow it down.
Please let me know if any other supporting files could help in this process. I really hoped upgrading tot eh 515's would solve this problem, but it did not.
I also attached the support dump from one of the AP's in the cluster that was having problems yesterday.
-Thanks
