DLink wireless card wont work in M700

    I have an Armada M700. My Dlink DWL-G650 works fine in my new Dell laptop w/XP, but it won't find the router when plugged to my Compaq. The router is by Linksys. I've talked to Linksys and DLink and they suggest updating BIOS driver, but I don't see a BIOS driver update that references wireless cards.

    The computer sees the Dlink card and lets me eject it and one power light on the card comes on, but it sees no signal and won't find the right channel to match the router.

    Any suggestions?

    In your Compaq machine, is there anyway you can specifically allot an IRQ for this wireless card? Change the present IRQ for the card in the BIOS and test. YMMV.
