Hello,

 

I have an environment with all IAP-325-US's I am trying to add two AP-365-US's. The firmware on the 365's is much older than the 325's. I tried to upgrade the 365's firmware via HTTP through cli but it tells me "we could only upgrade image via master". So I am trying to downgrade my 325's to the firmware the 365's are on. I tried through the instant controller by going to firmware and selecting the older firmware. This just times out and states there is another upgrade in process. However, there is no other upgrade going on.

 

Does anyone know how else I can downgrade the firmware on these? Or a way to get around the "we could only upgrade image via master" error via cli?

 

IAP-325-US Firmware version 8.3.0.3

AP-365-US Firmware version 6.5.4.3

Upgrade the AP-365 on a separate later 2 Network. When that is done, bring it back into the same network with the 335s.

Ah yes, that worked perfectly. I don't know why I didn't think of that.
