Need a little help, what to do with the HP support here in Denmark!!!

I am really really fighting overhere to get HP support to accept that they need to fix my DV6186eu laptop ref. this HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement :http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01087194&lc=en&cc=dk&dlc=da&product=3289633〈=da

The story is: In january 2007 I bought a DV6186eu while working in Dubai for 3 months.

I was very happy with this machine, until after about 4months, where my wireless card suddenly disappeared from the device manager now and then - and I started to get problems starting up the damned thing (now the wireless Broadcom card never works, and is not detected in the device manager anymore). At first I thougt that it was a software problem, but after several bios and driver updates - and offcourse several phonecalls with HP support (who denied that this model have a problem) I realised that it had to be a hardware issue. I started searching the net, and found out that many others are having the same problems as me.

THEN, a couple of days ago I by coinsidence found the HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement for the DV6000, and quickly called HP Support in Denmark, and I explained them my problem with the wireless card that is gone from the device manager and so on.

I then had to give them the link to the HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement, because they did not believe me!!!!!!!!!........

After they did a bit of reading, and after they got the model, and SN on my machine they told me that they could not give me the free repair because my SN was not among them.......... BUT I AM SURE THAT IT IS !

If you read the Limited Warranty Service Enhancement Table 2, it says:

Step 2: Identify your notebook serial number
If your computer serial number falls within the serial number ranges listed in Table 2, continue to "Step3: Identify the symptoms."
    Table 2:
    dv6000 SN:
    xxx625xxxx - xxx726xxxx

    Mine has SN: CNF6450LVX

So the fight with HP Support Denmark is that they say that it is ONLY sn xxx625xxxx AND xxx726xxxx

And I say that it MUST BE sn xxx625xxxx TO xxx726xxxx because as it says it is a range!?

But until now they refuse, and what can you do??? I am the little man against HP...........

If you have any idea what I can do, pls drop me a line.

    Bgrds

Hi Keld, here's what to do. Get a very large hammer, take it into the garden and smash it into a million pieces. There is no permanent solution to the problem you, me a hundreds of others are experiencing and HP will not admit there is a fault with these notebooks. They are not of saleable quality. Of course, it goes without saying, if you buy another one, steer well clear of HP. Also, make sure you fill in their customer survey form and tell them what you think of them. It won't help you laptop but it makes you feel slightly better about ever investing in a HP product.
