    Hello,

We have 2 default routes, one using static using next-hop 1 and another using BGP with next-hop 2.

Could you confirm if next-hop 1 is down, it will failover automatically to the BGP default route ?

We don't have to configure any IP SLA or path monitoring ?

Thanks by advance for your help.

    hi,

the short answer is YES. for each link (WAN or LAN), there will be an automatical IP SLA configured in the system, you can log into ORchestrator, type "IP SLA" in the search bar, you can see the IP SLA configuration.

in order to do auto. failover, you need:

1- define the WAN lable in the deployment page, after that Orch will auto build the tunnel bertween ECs with the same WAN label name.

2- go business intend overlay, and drag the WAN label that you want to be primary and secondary into the corrosponding field.

    and you are done.

to make your network design more simple, you dont even need to configure BGP, just define the next hop will do....
