Hi, is Aruba beacon limited to meridian only ? Any other apps for editing beacon major minor ?

It is possible to edit the major/minor of the Beacon broadcast from the Access Points (as of AOS 8.4). I don't believe you can edit the Meridian battery powered beacons without Meridian.

 

Are you looking to do this with the AP BLE radio or the battery beacon?

Hi, i've both of battery and AP BLE. On instant VC somehow after upgrade to 8.6 the beacon isn't detected even after BLE Operation Mode changed to beaconing mode.

Delete the beacon and insert it again.

We’ve run into the same issue.

Ended up by a manual delete and insert of all faulty beacons (bad major
minor). Seem’s to affect only beacons inserted before a date previous to
november 2019 or before.

Found the solution, on AOS 8.6 the GUI for beaconing isn't available anymore, they change it to via CLI refer to https://docs.meridianapps.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042543934-ArubaOS-8-6-x-Meridian-Beacons-Management-and-Asset-Tracking-Configuration-Guide
