I don't think you can change the password format. Guest self registration is never a bullet-proof solution as people can easily generate e-mail addresses, so attempting to harden this too much will probably be counter productive.
With ClearPass you would be able to build such advanced/customized configurations; Cloud Guest is built to be simple and easy to use.

Hello,
we are currently in the process of converting our old network to Aruba Central and are so far happy about the Cloud Guest feature for the designated Visitors SSID, but my Boss would like the E-Mail verification to be a bit safer, and on my own search I didn't find much.
So my questions, can we influence the verification passwords that get sent by Aruba in any way so its not just numbers, but also includes letters and special characters?
and is there a way to block certain Mail domains from registering, as management doesn't want the employees to sign up on their private phones with the company Mail Addresses.
