    I would need to troubleshoot an Aruba 8325 switch that is continually requesting a mac IP address (Arp request). Who has the IP address xx.xx.xx.xx?

    I understand that there is a client asking its default gateway (Aruba 8325) for the mac address for that IP. And the switch broadcasts it to the VLAN. Nobody answers because that IP does not exist. But I would need to know who wants to connect with that IP.

    How can I troubleshoot that? Maybe i would need to capture arp packets to the cpu switch. How can i do that?
