That's really helpful information. I have mixed feelings, glad to know I'm not alone, but also surprised that this isn't a new issue. The benefits of investing in a structured documentation approach are obvious, so there's no need to list them. I'm also curious to hear what others think.

Hi Martijn, unfortunately you aren't doing anything wrong.
In my personal opinion, you've pretty much summarized years - really years - of (personal [1]) frustration in finding a unique source (call it a portal, call it whatever) where to find Best Practices or Technical Guides very topic-specific, sort of a place where to find a collection of best of documents (yes documents! [2]), to best configure the product.
My feelings are that information is here but scattered across many places and presented with different formats (which is not bad, di per sè).
I'm with you so you have my Kudos.
Cheers, Davide.
[1] To me it started well before the HP splitted into HP and HPE entities and the consequent HPE purchase and incorporation of Aruba Networks, it was and still is a long journey into my beloved HP way (I recall a time when I was searching a Best Practice guide for setting up my first VSF back in 2017 - a document that was then created and now is part of standard documentation - and I played a presentation video by two HPE System Engineers - Justin Noonan and Ruben Iglesias - which explained what it was, just to say).
[2] As you, I'm not referring to the valid and complete product documentation we have today, especially because - we should admit that - some of them already incorporate best practices or tips.

How to search yourself towards a solution IDK
This topic has been on my mind for a while. I have been working with HPE Aruba now for 14 months after spending most of my career working with products from other vendors. One thing I noticed 14 months in, is that I have been unable to develop method of finding instructions on how to do things with Aruba. For instance step-by-step configuration guides. My current method is, purchasing courses, use the lab guides provided with the courses, buying books, Airheads YouTube Channel, and this forum. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a method to click my way around on the HPE Aruba website and find a solution.
My observations so far are:
- Techdocs (link below), provides helpful information in the CLI bank, but isn't really a tool that could help me configure user-based tunneling step-by-step or any other solution I would be interested in deploying with Aruba switches. In all honesty I haven't found much value for it.
- The User guides provide some information but again it is not really helping me configure user-based tunneling step-by-step
- Aruba Validated Designs, a good tool for some things but not to find step-by-step guides for particular solutions.
I really hope someone can tell me I am doing it all wrong and there is a method!
