    Dear Team,

    In our organization there are multiple different models access points are running on a single cluster like (Model: 207, 303, 305). In these one AP of model 207 works a master AP and rest of the APs are synchronized. The issue is that i want to upgrade the firmware and can I upgrade firmware from Maintenance --> firmware--> automatically check, option while all of these different model APs are running. Please suggest.

    Yes you can. You will be presented with a field for each AP model that needs a different firmware. You will then supply the fields with the URLs for the upgrade files. See page 19 of the release notes for upgrade procedures: https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/Aruba-Instant-8.x-Books/Release-Notes/810/Aruba-Instant-8.10.0.4-Release-Notes.pdf

    Example URL scenario below:

    505 = Gemini
    515 = Draco
    535/534 = Scorpio
    577 = Draco

    Dear Dustin,

    Thanks alot for your prompt response.

    You mean that I can upgrade firmware from maintenance-->firmware while the APs of models 207,303 & 305 are running simultaneously. on a single virtual cluster. and while upgrading enter the URLs for rest models as well with disabled the reboot option. Am I right according to the attached capture. Please confirm according to the captures

    Yes this is where you will enter the upgrade URLs. Any reason you do not want to reboot them after the upgrade?

    Dear Dustin,

    As I think once all APs are upgraded so then I will reboot all APs later. Further how can I get URLs for firmware upgrade to enter. Can you share steps.

    My example was hosting it via HTTP on site. You can also do FTP instead which is usually quicker. Page 19 of the guide shows you how you need to format your HTTP/TFTP/FTP URLs.
