I have  a 6 module and a 12 module chassis. They are 5406 and 5412 R zl2. When I do show module detail, they are J9827A ( the management modules). When I do show run the top says JL9850A and JL9851A. I was looking to find the firmware and I do not see it for J9827A. If I type in the model (5406 or 5412) I get the right model, but it is for J9821A and J9822A.

Am I looking at the wrong product numbers? I know one model switch I have doesn't seem to have any firmware updates (JL693A) so maybe these chassis do not either?

I believe it should be this one? the 5412R ZL2 chassis should be part number J9822A.
The partnumber is visable on the front of your chassis.

You are correct... After some more looking, I found a post from Parnassus on an HPE forum where he explained it. the 5406 uses J9821A and the 5412 uses J9822A...
