    Hi all,

we want to prepare some SSIDs in a group with currently no devices in it, so that we can start testing WiFi as soon as we bring the devices online.

The SSIDs should be all tunneled to an auto-site gateway cluster.

But in Central you can only configure the group as a destination in the SSID, if there is at least one gateway in the group.

Has anyone found a workaround for that, so that we can start configuring the SSIDs, before the gateways are online?

Does someone know if that is on the roadmap to be changed? And please don't say it will be changed in CNX, that does not help at the moment.

Right now we have a gateway which we just move around to the new groups, prepare the SSIDs and then move it back. But this gw looses functionality while in the new group of cause.

AFIK, you can do this with manual-cluster and need to disable Cluster mode: Automatic. Gateway entry should be in the group to work with auto-site or auto-group
