Thanks Philip.
Ironically, I found the answer a couple of hours before your reply. It was a shame that Support wasn't able to assist on this one too. Found the answer before they could get their head around it.

Subject: Group speed mismatch on 6300M uplink ports
Hi,
Is the switch SE91A? In that case you have two groups of ports. Group 1 is port 49 and 50. Group 2 is port 51 and 52. For group 2 you need to set the group speed to 50/40/10G for it to work with 10G SFP.
I don't have Central in front of me right now but in CLI it is "system interface-group 2 speed 10g" to configure the ports to the right speed.
Regards
Philip

Subject: Group speed mismatch on 6300M uplink ports
I have a 6300M switch stack that I'm configuring in Central. I'm using a single stack cable in the 100 Gig ports - 50 on the Orchestrator & 49 on the member. The stack is up and I can see it being managed as a single switch.
I'm now trying to uplink from the stack to a single 6200 switch using a QSFP to SFP adapter and a 10G SPF on the stack and a 10G SFP on the 6200. This is the "sh int trans" output.
1/1/50 100G-DAC1 R0Z25A CN52KKP00T 8121-1693
1/1/51 10G-SR@* S2P30A CN47M721R1 1990-4918
2/1/49 100G-DAC1 R0Z25A CN52KKP00T 8121-1693
* unsupported transceiver
@ transceiver installed in QSFP-to-SFP adapter
The transceiver is showing as "unsupported" and the uplink port shows "group speed mismatch".
I'm fairly new to Aruba and a bit unsure what's going on. I've tried setting the speed and duplex on both sides of the uplink to various set speeds including auto but nothing is resolving the issue.
The commands in the information I've been researching about things like group speed, don't seem to be available on the console.
My only other thought is that everything on that port module needs to run at 100G considering that's the stack speed, but that's really going to limit my ability to uplink to switches that support lower speeds.
The switches are running 10.13.1000 firmware.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
