Guest Device Sponsorship

    Hi All,

    I know it doesnt seem like its possible out of the box, but i am trying to get device sponsorship working. A user registers thier own MAC address into a mac_create page, and then this triggers a sponsorship email to get the device approved. 

    I have managed to get the email to trigger and get the device to appear with the "Sponsor" button, however everytime i click this button, it says:

    I cannot find a way to enable this. I have tried everywhere but this is possible for onboard and guest, so i would imagine it could happen with devices aswell.

    Any advice on this would be great.

    is your self-registration page in gray colour indicating that it is not enabled.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply. This isn't a self-registration, its a custom mac_create form with no obvious way to enable self-registration.

    The only way i can think of getting this working is to have a separate self-registration page and delay the submit payload to change the source to a real self-registration page with javascript. Has anyone tried this before? Or does anyone have a better way that I've missed of making device registration with sponsorship?
