Controllerless Networks

Hi all,

I setting up IAP to use 3g uplink with Employee SSID which work properly and I'd like to setup wired port for client but no luck wired client can't get ip address.

 anyone have a good configuration on IAP for wired port ?

PS. ip address assigned by virtual controller

If you would like to Ethernet Downlink in Virtual AP (InstantAP/RAP) - Read the attached user (PDF) -guide from page 193.

Thanks for your reply. But I tried to config following user guide step but wired client can't get ip address from IAP.

my solution want to wired and wireless client getting ip address from IAP which IAP connected to 3G dongle as uplink.

PS. It's seem like wired port don't support DHCP from virtual controller.

• SO U DIDNT HAD ANY DHCP CONFIGURATION IN YOUR IAP :smileyhappy: it's importent to ask the right question and share with us all the relevnat info - in order to get the right answer. :smileywink:

and u should get an ip.

please screenshot your gui - wired port config / dhcp . -if more assist needed.
