It might be a stupid question but I need to confirm the backbone capacity  (fabric) of the 8212zl switch, in hte documents the only mentioned thing is the switching/routing capacity, is that the same ?? if not then where I can find the fabric capacity then ?

Hi, i think the

switching capacity = Backplan speed of Layer 2

and

routing capacity = Backplan speed of Layer 3

The datasheet on the 8212 lists the fabric speed as 1.1Tbps (I believe you need to be running all v2 modules to achieve this).
