Exactly this. IMC will not overwrite the old config backup file, nor save a new one, if it notices the configuration has not changed.
The "Backup Time" seen here is the last time IMC performed a config backup and noticed the config has not changed. While the date and time seen in the file name and on the filesystem corresponds to the last time when the backed up file was actually saved due to being different from the previous backup (or just the first backup).

I´m not sure, but I dont think iMC saves the backup if the configuration has not changed since the last backup.

Source Device sw-MathsStore(10.10.14.9)File Name 10.10.14.9_running_20250104053158.cfgFile Type Current Running Configuration FileBackup Time 2025-01-28 05:32:14Version Type Common Version
That makes NO sense!
The date of the file does NOT correspond to the date of the backup date
I can see in filesystem that the creation date is 04 January 2025, 05:32:14
So that means that filename is correct and the backup time is totally wrong.
I can not trust backup, if it stores random data from random dates!
Anybody has any ideas?
