  • 1.  HP ProCurve 2810-24G Switch

    Can anyone tell me how do I access the switch via console port?? I've tried several Tera Term configurations. Get some strange caracters at boot up, but never got the initial prompt.

    Hi André,

    please try with following settings:

    Speed 9600
    Databits 8
    Stop Bit 1
    Parity: None
    Flow Controll: None

    I am using Putty and this is working for me on all ProCurve switches.

    Allready tried several terminal emulators...
    Look's like a bad cable issue.
    Does anyone knows de pin-out of these console cables?
