HP2620 Fan failure

    Good afternoon.

     

    The logs a lot of records:

    W 12/22/12 08:04:13 00070 chassis: Fan failure: Fan: 2  Failures: 16182
W 12/22/12 08:04:15 00070 chassis: Fan OK: Fan: 2  Failures: 16182
W 12/22/12 08:10:10 00070 chassis: Fan failure: Fan: 2  Failures: 16183
W 12/22/12 08:10:12 00070 chassis: Fan OK: Fan: 2  Failures: 16183
W 12/22/12 08:12:05 00070 chassis: Fan failure: Fan: 2  Failures: 16184
W 12/22/12 08:12:06 00070 chassis: Fan OK: Fan: 2  Failures: 16184
W 12/22/12 08:17:20 00070 chassis: Fan failure: Fan: 2  Failures: 16185

    What do you mean those records. Fans like work.

    Hi

     

    It means just what it says - the switch fan is failing. That's not a SW issue. Call support and get the box replaced.
