What is Maximum Limit of L3 Vlan Interfaces on the 1920S Switch

Hi,

You can create upto 256 VLAN's.

Can you please share product number 'JXXXXX' of the device so will check and confirm the itnerface vlan limitations?

I am asking how many L3 VLAN interface count. 1950 also support 8 Nos of L3 Vlan interfaces in access models

Colleague @akg7 is right, you can configure up to 256 VLANs on 1920S series switches.

However, I think your question was about Vlan-interfaces (SVI). The maximum number of SVIs configured simultaneously is 16. These numbers are valid for all models of 1920S.

so that means, I can assign 16 IP addresses to each interface and enable inter vlan routing between each other. 

I have a doubt since 1950 have an 8 l3 interface limitation.

If your device lies into below models then it supports 8 virtual VLAN interfaces if I am not wrong.

I understand your scepticism, @dmchandrasinghe and you are almost right about 8 SVIs on 1950 series, but not exactly.

If we speak about 1950 models that have 1G ports and 10G uplinks, then you are right - 8 SVIs maximum.
However, don't forget that 1950 series have 1950-12XGT model with 12 x 10G copper ports and 4 x 10G SFP+ ports (JH295A). That little beast supports up to 32 SVIs.
And according the same table that provided me abovementioned numbers (internal doc, can't share it, sorry) all 1920S models support up to 16 SVIs.

And just FYI - 1950 and 1920S are very, very different devices. 1950 runs Comware 7, 1920S runs customized Linux-based OS with GUI as the only management option. And they have very different SoCs.
