    Hello!
Every night were moving backup data between 2 sites, during this period IMC sends alerts that the switch on our 2nd site becomes unresponsive. As soon as the data transfer is complete i get a new mail saying everything is fine again.
The main site has a HPE FF 5940 switch and the 2nd site has 2 2930 switches running VSF. Sites are connected with 10Gb SFP single mode fiber,

I can see that during transfer of backup data we can ge to 900mb transfered data but that's far from the kapacity on the connection in my opinion.

Anyone know what i can do to stop these alerts from coming?

    /Lee

    Hello there,

I cannot comment on the switch site , I can imagine that snmp traffic is not prioritized by the switch, but from iMC point of view you can filter those traps in iMC under Alarm-Trap management - Filtering trap .
Use the help menu , when you are in this window to check what are your possibilities to stop those traps .
Another possibility would be to find  and reconfigure the alarm with conditions that are better for  your network.

    Kind regards,,
