If you don't take too long to study, that should be fine. If an exam is expiring, you should have something like 6 months to still take the 'old' exam.
Success with obtaining your certification.

Hi Herman,
thank you so much for the info. I just enrolled for the self-paced training and hopefully they don't change it while i'm in the middle of the study.
They didn't include the textbook unfortunately, they say " The book received should align with the training they attended. They would not receive an updated book unless they attend the training, or opt to get the study guide through HPE Press"
I have the old ACSA book, and I noticed the one for HPE6-A86 is 200 pages less which it would seem easier to go through. I'm wondering if it's worth it buying it.
Thanks

ACSA is discontinued and replaced by HPE Aruba Networking Associate - Switching, which instead of a specific product, covers campus access solutions including wireless, but with a focus/bias on switching. In addition to the link that Dustin shared, here is another overview. If you click on the Technology button, then filter on Networking, you have all available certifications including links to the content and datasheets/descriptions.

Hi all,
I must have missed some information regarding a training I've been prepping for.
I was intended to get certified on ACSA (aruba certified switching associate) but it seems it may got replaced with the HPE6-A86 when I wasn't able to find the exam HPE6-A72. I ended up taking the A86 and unfortunately didn't pass because the material I had to prepare wasn't good enough.
Can someone confirm the change before I wasted extra money for nothing (training)?
Thanks,
