    Hi,

I have a couple of IAPs 505 with version 8.10.0.12. I know I can configure the AP names via the webgui, however when I look at the cli (show run) the ap names are not listed there. Where are the stored/saved? Also I didn´t found any possibility to change the names of the APs via CLI. Isn´t that possible?

    Any hint appreciated.

    Thanks.

    https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/CLI-Bank/Content/instant/name.htm

name <>  - Name for specific AP

hostname <> - Hostname for VC

'hostname' is not a valid command on (my) instant APs

'name' sets only the name of the VC
