  • 1.  IAP Cluster between AP 515 and AP 565

    Hello team,

    we have a AP cluster of 565 running on firmware 8.10.x . we wanted to add four more 515 AP to the same cluster . AP 515 was running on firmware 8.7.x .but we were facing issue while adding 515 AP to the cluster . cluster was showing error 201 image mismatch . to solve this we took one 515 AP and upgraded its firmware to 8.10.x and it joined the existing  cluster with 565 APs and simultaneously other three 515 APs which are still on 8.7.x version joined the existing cluster . the question is how these three AP joined the cluster now ?

    As long as you have one of the AP-515s with the new code, it will "seed" the firmware to the AP-515s that are trying to join, and they will upgrade automatically.

    You need to manually upgrade on AP-515 to the same FW version as of existing AP-565. Then you will be able to join it into the cluster. After that other AP-515 will get the code from this AP and will be able to
