IAP L3 Mobility within same cluster

    Hi,

I had an interesting question come up that I thought I'd clear up on here.

One big IAP cluster, with the corp clients all on the same vlan.  Between different buildings though, the vlan is different subnets.

Obviously, the client will need to re-ip when they roam between subnets, but would L3 mobility work in this case?

Given that it is the same cluster, to my mind, this probably won't work?  I guess there is the possibility of some sort of loop happening?

Spoke to TAC and they have said that this is possible, even within the same cluster.

L3 mobility needs to be enabled and the subnets defined in the home agent table.  I'm still a bit skeptical, but won't get a chance to test this now since the customer's network is slightly different from what I thought.
