    Hi, all!

A few days ago we tried to migrate (more precisely, not migrate, but simply moving to a new version): iMC PLAT v7.3 (E0706) Standard - Linux. Used as a platform Oracle Linux 8 + MySQL 8.0 (HPE Intelligent Management CenterMySQL 8.0 Installation and Configuration Guide (for Linux)), 16GB RAM, 500GB disk space.

Installation IMC was not very simple, but in the end it worked - we got a working version with a trial license for 2 months - as it should have been.

I set up autodiscovery rules and quickly got 100 discovered devices (100 nodes is a limit for trial, mostly it were switches). All worked fine at this moment. For verification, several discovered hosts were removed, several were added manually (though I noted that the removal took quite a long time, compared to what we had on the old version IMC 7.2).

The next step was the transfer of licenses from our old instance of IMC 7.2. Acting on the instruction (IMC license transfer), the licenses were successfully transferred (there are 8 in total in single file) - I downloaded them and received a copy by e-mail, then activated them in the usual way. IMC asked to restart services using DMA. And here is the problem - after reload process imcinventorydm did not start. At first it stays for a long time in the state Starting (several minutes), and then it ends with an "Unknown error" diagnostic. Rebooting the system didn't help either. Didn't see anything in the logs (maybe not looking there), in "Alarm Details" there are some strings that don't help much:

Description: System proccess "imcinventorydm" in NMS server(127.0.0.1) Core down.
Alarm Cause:  System Process Core down. The reason can be: 1. Database exception. 2.Port conflict.
Remediation:  Suggestion 1. Restart the System Server. 2. Stop the other proccess that use the same port.

No one met with such behavior of processes IMC? Why, while initially IMC working fine, did the imcinventorydm process stop startit after the licenses were transferred? Or does this have nothing to do with licenses, but is the reason something else?
