  • 1.  IMC : New installation issue : img process fails to start

    Posted 26 days ago

We are moving our IMC instance currently in production to a new server.

After an IMC fresh install on a new server, img process fails to start with error :

    Fail to environment variable: IMCROOT
    IMCROOT not set!
Failed to get IMF config file and default log path!

The process fails to start automatically at IMC start or manually even with en variable is set.

All other IMC processes run fine (imcsysdm,, imcnetresdm, receiver, etc....).

Tried to strace the process exec on working node and on the failing one but nothing significant showed up.

    any clue ?

    Thanks !

    Christophe

    Hello Christophe,

Have you checked the installation prerequisites section in the read-me-document of the version you want to install? Please use only supported operating systems and database versions for your iMC.

    Thank you,

    Best Regards,

    Ivaylo
