Hi,

I have two Palo Alto Firewalls. They should be backed up by IMC. The existing IMC backup adapter doesnt work, so I edited it. 

I want to bo backup the running config and the the device state as startup config. The running config is a cfg-file, so no problem. But the device state is a tgz archive. 

So how can I configure IMC that it saves the device state config as a tgz file and not as a cfg file?

Unfortunately the user there hasn't shared exactly how they got the backup working, but using F5 networks adapter as a reference may help.
