Hello, 

I have a IMC (E0710P04) and HP2930F (16.11.0020) and want to use SNMPv3. 

IMC can successsfully connect via SNMPv3 to the switch. But when the switch sends SNMPv3 notifies to IMC, IMC does not recognize them. 

With wireshark on IMC-server I can see the notifies comming from the switch, but in IMC under the trap browser they dont appear. 

What is wrong with it?

are you receiving traps from other switches correctly to the IMC server? If not, my first suggestion would be to check if the your firewall/endpoint is not somehow blocking UDP port 162. Although you see traps in the wireshark trace the endpoint/FW  could discard it once they are received on the IMC server

Hi there,

if it is visible in the Wireshark trace that the switch is sending the traps to the iMC server, the iMC should receive them. Please check if you have enabled some traps to be filtered - Alarm -  Trap Management - Filtering Trap and disable them.
