Hello,

I'm building a virtual demonstration (I'm a student), and I would want to work on upgrading scenario from iMC 5.X to iMC 5.2.

And even if I've searched in manuals included, I haven't found my answer and I wouldn't want to use the license if it's not going to work.

Is it possible to install an HP iMC 5.1 license on 5.2 ?
I checked on the website when you download your license certificate file, it seems it's not bound to the version but I need confirmation.

Yes, you can use the same license across those versions. I think there was a license format change when they went from 3.x to 5.x, but within the 5.x series, the license stays the same.

Apparently you can even get an iMC Basic license to run on 5.1 (which you shouldn't really be able to do, since there was no Basic version at 5.1...)
