    Hello,

    I am a reseller partner in korea

    I am puzzled about how IAP works and why these two IAPs do not engage with each other

    It is the procedure of building my wireless topology under below

    1. I have two 325 series APs, I installed ArubaInstant_Hercules_8.10.0.5_85552 on them
    2. I connected these to downlink ports of 7010 Crtrlr, while in the moment, the 7010 is just working as L2 Hubs only.
    3. They got ip addresses and gateway in same native vlan 192.168.100.0/24 through DHCP
    4. The 325_A is the first booted one about 3~4 minutes earlier
      • IP  192.168.100.5/24
      • MAC  :::CA:02:C8
      • S/N  CNHTHN7575
      • Vitual Controller IP  0.0.0.0
      • Conductor  itself(192.168.100.5 )
    5. The 325_B is the second booted one about 3-4 mitues later
      • IP  192.168.100.7/24
      • MAC  :::CA:15:E8
      • S/N  CNHTHN75C9
      • Vitual Controller IP  0.0.0.0
      • Conductor  itself(192.168.100.7 )

    I am curious about what difference exists between virtual controller and conductor in the context of Instant AP clustering?

    and Why IAP would like to be a Conductor for itself rather than be a Virtual Controller?
