  • 1.  Instant AP settings

    Hi there. 
    Does anyone know anything about the following for Access Point and Radio settings?
    What do they mean and what the best settings should be?
    Background Spectrum Monitoring = On or Off ? 
    Channel Quality Threshold = ? …. Channel Quality Wait time = ?  ... what is the recommendation?
    Smart Antenna = On or Off ?

    smart antenna are used in only IAP-335s so if you don't have that, don't use it.
    i would leave the channel quality , etc to their default value and only change base don recommendation from TAC.

    Also, don't forget to look at the Instant Validated Reference Design Guide as these give you the best practice as to when to enable/disable the settings.
