Subject: Instant (IAP) - Removed APs showing as down - how to purge
A question that I've been meaning to ask for ages, and it's not a big deal - it's more cosmetic than anything.
I've had a cluster of IAPs for years, and over the years I've removed APs and replaced them with new ones - it started life as a cluster of IAP225s and now it's 515s (and it's been through the 3xx series in the middle)
When replacing APs I have just unplugged the old ones added new ones in (In retrospect what I should probably have done is delete the old APs from the cluster while they were still visible)
But the situation I have now is there are 4 Up and 8 'down' APs on the overview page, however on the AccessPoints page I can only see the live ones.
Is there something I'm missing - how do you purge the APs that no longer exist?
