    Hello,

Have a client with InstantON APs (AP25) with the Instant ON OS, (I think that might be the terminology). I'm seeing these are cloud managed only, does the price of the AP include cloud management or is that a separate cost? These are going in a school, is this the correct use case for these APs?

InstantON is SMB product line and it is discusses in instanton forums. But to answer your question. InstantON APs are cloud managed only. Management is free (part of purchase price). No subscriptions or expiration.

There can be up to 50 devices per one instanton site. InstantON APs are recommended to around 100-150 users. If you need more, then you will be better with enterprise APs (Instant) like 5xx or 6xx series.

Management is very simplified and don't expect advanced enterprise features. 802.1x is working just fine. APs are reliable and I have almost zero problems with them. HW is the same as enterprise but FW is different.

And no, you can't flash InstantON APs to Instant.

    Best, Gorazd
