    Dear Community,

I am trying to upgrade an AP 305 without great success.

Is there a tutorial where this procedure is explained?

    Thank you.

    Best Regards.

If it is an AP-305 (not an IAP 305), the access point will upgrade before it joins the controller.

On the back of the access point should be a sticker with a barcode that either says IAP-305 or AP-305

    Thank you.

The device they can sure be upgraded because I found one that has been switch to controller mode...

The problem is that I don't know how they did it.

I tried to reset an AP but I am having issue, it is seen by the controller but when I tried to do the provisioning it says that the firmware is not updated....

Then, it showing instability like going up and down.

I think the only way is access with console cable right?

Because the AP looks inaccessble via web interface, telnet or ssh...

On the controller, type "show log system 50" to see if you see any messages about that access point.

    HI,

I did that, I can see a lot of this errors:

<5662> <ERRS> istml An internal system error has occurred at file sapm_ap_mgmt.c. function sapm_get_img_build_version

I cannot see any error for the APs
