Is there any way to upgrade the image backup partition of the RAP?

We have Aruba 3200 controller to be upgraded from 6.1.3 to 6.4.1 we notice that some of the RAP backup image are  3.3.2 now if the upgrade procced in case the rap will be reset it might not contact the master controller since rap has been scattered around the globe.

It is possible through the Controller.

Step 1 : bring up the RAP and terminate it on the controller which is running with the desired image version (6.3 or 6.4 in your case)

Step 2 : on the controller, use the following commands to upgrade the backup partition of the RAP

(Aruba3600) #apflash ap-nameTEST-AP backup-partition

You can verify the same by using

(Aruba3600) ##show ap image version

But those command does not exist at AOS version 6.1.3
