I have a question about FCS Errors. I have Airwave 7.7.5 installed and monitoring our wireless controllers, RAPs and IAPS.

When I check the Raido Statistics in Airwave for various APs, I see a large number of entries in the FCS Errors. Do I need to modify the port settings on the AP to reduce FCS Errors or is this a normal occurrence?

What matters is WHEN those errors occurred.  A certain number of errors is reasonable for each environment and LYNC can certainly operate WITH those errors just fine.  You should get worried when you have problems.  If you have AMON http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Community-Tribal-Knowledge-Base/Why-you-should-always-enable-AMON-on-your-Aruba-Controller-when/ta-p/72104 turned on, you can look at each access point's radio and see how many errors at each time of day to get an idea what is the baseline for your environment.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm not certain when the errors occurred. I'll clear the counters on the AP and monitor.

I pulled radio statistics from another AP. The FCS Errors are much lower than previous AP. So, it appears to be AP specific.
