    Hello guys,

Since yesterday having single issue with only  AP-535  out of our 158 APs (AP 315), the issue is connection latency that comes from this AP.

Clients complain which when they want to connect to this AP its take long time to finish connection process.

    For info:

All aps  control by Mobility Master version: 8.6.0.9

    Any solution much appreciate it,

    Best

    Hi,

ArubaOS 8.6.x.x is going end of support by end-of-this month and even your current version is more then 2years old.

Many bugfixes and secuirty updates are missing.

Please upgrade to latest 8.10.x.x LSR (Long Supported Release) which is 8.10.0.8 at the moment.

What channel is that access point on?  Did you make sure the switchport the access point has connected to negotiated at 1000 full?  Are there any errors on the switch interface?

Because your firmware is very old this should be your starting point in troubleshooting.

    Hello Joseph,

at level of the sw is ok, I can verified that. this AP is in 5G: HT20: 36,40,44,48,52,56,60,64,100,104,108,112,116,120,124,128,132,136,140,153,157,161,165 and in 2.4G: HT20: 1,5,6,9,11,13 (based on our planning and policy)

    Best,

Channels 1,5,6,9,11,13 are overlapping and will cause cochannel interference (and increased RF utilization and reduced performance).  I would try 1,6,11

Instead of my going through all of your settings one by one, please take a look at the 802.11ac Validated Reference Design Guide here:  https://higherlogicdownload.s3.amazonaws.com/HPE/MigratedAttachments/7BC8710B-BC01-4229-A170-41F8F5A5E6F8-5-Aruba_VHD_VRD_Planning_Guide.pdf

It has very detailed information about the settings you should put in place and why.
