    No One?

Recently we were able to add 4 new switches to the IRF stack. We only ran into one problem,
initially thought it was code so we rolled back to original code. We brought all switches down and brought them up one by one (because we replaced fans) but when all 8 were online and IRF was happy, we could only see a few mac addresses. There is a link between the 10G 5700 and 1G 5500 switches and we believe there was a routing loop. We ended up pulling the know uplink cable between the 10G and 1G switches and the network started flowing. When plugged back in, traffic continued to flow. So my question is, How do I identify if there is indeed a loop in the network switches? What would you recommend? We have thousand(s) of cables.
