    I noticed Mitel has announced support for this new spec. HP's 5300 series switches also show support... are they planning support for the 2600 series switches?

    Unfortunately there is no info about other HP switches.
    You need to contact you HP sales representative and he will describe the road-map in private discussion.

    Hi Victor,

    The ProCurve 2600 and 2600-PWR series switches now supports LLDP-MED starting with H.08.90 firmware. It's been released to support, and should be available on the web site in a couple of weeks.

    In addition, all of the new 5400 chassis, 3500 stackable and 4200 series switches announced today all support LLDP-MED.
