Hello fellow Airheads!
I have in the past couple of weeks received complaints from some of my Macbook users having intermittent issues with "no internet".
After finally replicating and troubleshooting the issue myself I have identified a number of TCP Timeout sessions, all from Macbooks specifically (both older and newer models).
When testing encryption levels enhanced open and open on the SSID's, the tcp timeouts subside and the clients are once again able to resolve webpages without issues.
The moment they are authenticated with either WPA3- or WPA2 the timeouts happen once more.
Our environment looks as follows:
Standalone 7205 controller (Tunnel mode) - Running
ArubaOS 8.9.0.1100x Aruba 515 AP's
2x 5406zl2 switches
A number of Aruba 2540-24g PoE+ switches.
3 SSID's (all configured to drop BC/MC w/ converting BC ARP Requests to unicast)
I have searched extensively for things to try in order to get this to work, without success, thus I am turning to you all for things to try out.
