    As the title says.

One of our locations has a somewhat unstable internet connection. It commonly loses connection to the headquarters.

Most of the time everything is fine, the local controller just comes back online.

But sometimes, it feels as if there is a stale tunnel stuck somewhere. The controller is online and reachable, i can log in to the WebUI and via SSH. Local APs are connected to the controller and are properly serving clients.

But the conductor shows the controller as offline, thus i cannot push configuration to the controller. Rebooting the controller works, and gets the connection to the conductor back. But that affects the users, since that location has no redundancy.

So, long story short, as the title already asks: Is there a way to force the MD to re-establish the tunnel to the conductor without rebooting it?

If the IPsec relationship is the issue, then clearing the IPsec and/or isakmp entry for the connection should resolve the issue.
