As i am aware and if i am not mistaken, the Aruba Mobility Gateways have a default limit of 2,048 guest accounts in their internal database. This means you can create up to 2,048 guest users using the internal guest provisioning page. If your requirement is 1,000 guest accounts, it should be fully supported. However, the number of guest accounts you can create depends on the hardware model and software version.
As for the 24h activation, you can try the following cli:
(host) [mynode] local-userdb add username guest1 password yorpassword expiry 24h
