I am trying to configure a mesh point portal and a mesh point in ArubaOS 8.10 using 567 AP's.  However, when I try to provision the AP's I am getting this error.

Warning:Provisioning AP dc:b7:ac:cf:8a:7c at LMS 172.xx.xx.xx as mesh AP will need at least one mesh cluster profile at node path /md/D155/CaryGrove/Cluster1/20:4c:03:02:aa:20 Mesh provisioning will fail on the LMS if mesh cluster profile is not present.

I have created the mesh cluster so I am a little confused.

In addition to the creation of the mesh profile, did you also apply it at the AP-Group level?

Or it may just be a warning, and if you have applied the cluster profile it just works.

Did you try already if the mesh comes up, if you ignore the warning?

I did apply it to the ap-group level.

I have also tried ignoring the warning but the AP's will not provision.

Does having the controllers in a cluster cause any issues?

The mesh is inherited on each individual controller.

Yes that should work. From there, I would verify the effective configuration on each of your controllers as there must be something overridden or not configured properly. It may be useful to get your Aruba partner or Aruba TAC involved if you are not experienced in such troubleshooting.
